Look: Renato Reyes Son Crashes ₱1.9M Sports Car in Pampanga!!

A 23-year old son of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) Secretary General Renato Reyes Jr, suffered a non-life threatening injuries following a vehicular accident in North Luzon Express Way (NLEX).

On Saturday, Renato Reyes III was speeding along NLEX northbound at around 128km/hr, when his Toyota GT86 lose control and sideswiped the barrier when he was about to take Porac exit.

The vehicle’s front portion sustained heavy damage and Reyes, together with his 16-year old female companion, were brought to Romana Pangan District Hospital.

Reyes suffered broken ribs while his unidentified companion suffered facial injuries caused by broken windshield. None of the two suffered life threatening injuries.

NLEX patrol record says Reyes was flagged down in Meycauayan for overspending several minutes before the accident.

His father Renato Reyes Jr., an activist leader, did not commented about the incident, but he and his wife, a medical doctor, visited their son at the hospital.

Reyes’ critics are wondering how the family afforded the ₱1.9 million sports car when he claimed to be a jobless and working as volunteer in BAYAN.

The young Reyes is expected to stay inside the hospital for three days according to his medical records which was shared to the police.
