Fans of Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual and Shaina Magdayao got their dose of "kilig" at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival.
Shaina and Piolo together with their "Ang Panahon ng Halimaw" director Lav Diaz and other co-stars flew to Berlin for the movie’s world premiere at the festival.
The rock-opera movie that is set during the martial law era will also be competing at the festival’s main competition. Shaina plays the role of Lorena in the black and white movie, while Piolo plays the role of her husband Hugo Haniway.
The two are rumored to be seeing each other but they have maintained in separate interviews that they are only “close friends.”
In his "Tonight with Boy Abunda" interview, Pascual tried to explain their relationship. "Shaina and I have a mutual understanding na hindi namin alam kung paano ipaiintindi sa tao."
"What we have is really something special and mahirap kasi nga pareho kaming public figure and so we just decided na huwag na lang magsalita. Whatever we have is what we have. It is what it is."
Pascual and Magdayao were first romantically linked with each other back in 2012 after reportedly getting cozy during the concert tour of "ASAP" in Singapore that year.
Pascual, however, downplayed the rumors at that time, but described the actress as a "fine lady."
