Enrique Mari Bacay Gil V (born March 30, 1992) is a Filipino actor and dancer. He appeared in various films and television shows such as Mula Sa Puso, Budoy, Muling Buksan Ang Puso and She's the One, but he is best known for his role as Alexander "Xander" Grande III in the television series Forevermore in 2014–15, alongside Liza Soberano. Since then, he has starred in the films Just The Way You Are, Everyday I Love You, Dukot, and the drama television series Dolce Amore. In 2017, he played as the lead actor in the romantic comedy film My Ex and Whys.

She rose to prominence after playing the protagonist Maria Agnes Calay in the romantic comedy television series Forevermore (2014–2015) with Enrique Gil. Since then, she has taken on starring roles with Gil in romantic comedy films Just The Way You Are, based on the Wattpad book The Bet, Everyday I Love You (both in 2015) and the television series Dolce Amore (2016). In 2017, she starred in the romantic comedy drama film My Ex and Whys, and is confirmed to star in Darna as the eponymous comic book superheroine. She is also named as Campaign Asia-Pacific's most popular endorser of 2017.

Enrique Gil on Wednesday shared his short but sweet Valentine's Day message for rumored girlfriend Liza Soberano. On Instagram, Gil posted a sweet photo of him and Soberano, calling her "my forever."

In the caption, Gil wrote: "You have the biggest heart in the world. That’s why heart's day is your day. Ikaw na talaga ang forever ko. I love you."

Meanwhile, Liza also sufficed the sweetness of her love team by posting a sweet message on the said social media platform. “You’re my waking thought, my only dream, and everything i’ll ever need,” she wrote.

In a previous interview, Gil described Soberano as the "the one" for him. Gil and Soberano have been rumored to be a couple for some time. The two put many of the speculations to rest by saying that they treat each other almost like a couple. Gil's reason for skirting around the whole boyfriend-girlfriend is that he respects Soberano's family, who doesn't want the young actress to have a relationship until she reaches the age of 23.
