This time, the Filipina singer sang “The Pain You Never Knew” medley with songs by Chinese performers Wang Leehom and Joker Xue. According to reports, KZ placed sixth on this episode and she was almost eliminated. The seventh placer went home. Hua Chenyu topped this week’s competition followed in second place by Jessie J who belted “Purple Rain.”

During her recent interview, KZ said Episode 6 and 7 were already taped because of the holiday in China. This means these tweets could possibly be true as they also gave the same rankings of the singers. According to some of the Twitter users, KZ gained the 6th rank during the 6th episode of The Singer 2018. She is still in because the average of her ranking from the 5th and 6th episode is still considered high.
