We may think that Toni Gonzaga had her hair cut as she is presently going through something. But for the Kapamilya singer-host-actress, her new hairdo is as important as being a hands-on mom to her Baby Seve, thus, she even referred to it as “mommy hair.”
During the recent episode of ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show “ASAP,” Toni Gonzaga was cornered by her fellow hosts, Piolo Pascual, Luis Manzano, and Robi Domingo. They asked about her recent vacation to Japan with her beloved spouse Paul Soriano and their firstborn, Baby Seve.
Toni answered: “Masaya talaga, masaya talaga, dahil it’s a quality time with the family.”
Luis then asked Toni why she got a new hairstyle, with Robi throwing himself in the mix by claiming that women cut their hair when they undergo trials and tribulations. This got the guys jesting that Toni was going through a difficult situation.
Toni explained by saying:
“May pinagdadaanan talaga? Hindi. Makaka-relate ‘yung mga momshies natin. ‘Pag tumatakbo na ‘yung bagets, ‘di ba, ang hirap na? So, kailangan, ‘yung mommy hair talaga eh…”
Luis then started teasing his former love team partner by telling her she’s all about “Pinoy Pride,” prompting the “ASAP” hosts to laugh once more. Toni jokingly responded by gently pushing Luis, telling him, “Susuntukin kita diyan. ‘Wag kang ano diyan!”
