Celebrity siblings Angelika and Mika dela Cruz’s father bid his goodbye after a week of being hospitalized.
Angelika took her Instagram account to share the sad news.
The Kapuso actress wrote on her caption,
“Daddy you are my best friend ang kakampi ko sa lahat. I’m he4rtbroken dahil iniwan moko agad. I love you so much Dad. Mabuti kang tao na maraming tinulungan.”
She added,
“Pahinga ka na. Rest in Peace Dad. Masaya ako para sayo at mag kasama na kayo ni Edward. Till we meet again.”
At the end of her post, the actress revealed that she is a daddy’s girl in real life after expressing how much she loves her father.
Mika, for her part, she posted a photo of her with her father on her Instagram account.
The celebrity siblings requested prayers and healing for their father Ernie on June 21. However, Angelika and Mika didn’t give any further details about his condition.
Angelika and Mika dealt with a sudden heart-bre4king situation instead of celebrating Father’s Day. On the Instagram account of Mika, she shared a throwback photo of her and her father to honor him on that special day. But, the young actress only expressed her dev4station and sadness in her caption.
Mika wrote,
“daddy.. 
words aren’t enough to express how sad, scared and broken i am right now.. sobrang s4kit makita yung kalagayan mo ngayon. nabigla tayong lahat.. hindi tayo handa.”
The young star also said to love your parents while you still can and enjoy every moment and quality time you shared together.
“I have now realized how precious each moment is and daddy I will forever be grateful for you. you saved me. you accepted me with all your heart.”
Mika was hoping that her father can recover soon and she promised that she will remain strong for him.
Meanwhile, the friends of Angelika in the showbiz industry, including Wendy Valdez, Judy Ann Santos, and Gladys Reyes expressed their deepest condolences.
