A lot of things in the Philippines are greatly affected by the ongoing pand3mic. From the economy to the people who are losing their job and business. But, not just the employees and workers are greatly affected by the monthly income but also most of the people in the show business industry.

Ever since the community quarantine started, several industries are slowly going down which leads them to give their artists fewer talent fees.

As we all know, ABS-CBN Network is experiencing trials and challenges now, especially when they received another desist and cease order from the National Telecommunications Company (NTC). Because of this, the Kapamilya network is forced to stop its operation for good, without knowing when will they return again the television. Because of the network’s situation now, they needed to cut the talent fee of their artists into half.

Sarah Geronimo is just one of the loyal celebrities from the Kapamilya network who are supporting this decision of ABS-CBN. However, her mother, Mommy Divine seems not happy with the news.

According to some reports, Mommy Divine allegedly cried over the half talent fee of her daughter, Sarah. Based on the article published by an entertainment columnist named Salve Asis, Mommy Divine really cries over the 50% talent fee that her daughter will receive. Some sources said that Mommy Divine only gets the talent fee of Sarah to the latter’s stint on ASAP.

Asis further added that Mommy Divine will now receive half of the original fee. But this also not includes other deductions.

“Eh may pa cut pa raw na 50% so bawas na bawas na raw.

“Kung dati halimbawa raw ay Php500,000 per episode si Sarah, ngayon daw, Php250,000 na lang.

“With deductions pa yun.”

As then went on that Sarah left most of her savings to Mommy Divine. When she got married to Matteo Guidicelli, the Kapamilya singer-actress take the remaining money.

This isn’t the first time that Mommy Divine had a problem with the talent fee of her daughter.
