Actress Kim Chiu is mourning the passing of her grandmother.

On her Instagram account, the actress posted a photo while with Lola Francisca “Ayling” Chiu.

She slept peacefully, and little did she know she would wake up in heaven.. . Rest well in heaven, ama! You don’t have to wait anymore sa sunrise ug sunset. I guess in heaven sun is always shining. This Sunday, August 9, her 85-year-old grandmother passed away at their house in Cebu.

The actress thanked the grandmother because she has been close to her since she was a child.

The actress is very upset because she will not be able to travel to Cebu today due to the quarantine measures being implemented.
