Pagasa continues to base the possible strengthening of the low pressure area (LPA) in the oceans covered by our country.
It is expected that it will be stronger and will be a weak storm in the next few hours.
It was last seen 310 km northeast of Casiguran, Aurora or 210 km east of Aparri, Cagayan.
Ilocos, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon are among those that could be affected by the rains.
Meanwhile, southwesterly winds will bring rain to other parts of our country.
