According to the agency, 10 laboratories failed to submit data yesterday to their COVID-19 Data Repository System. The list includes:

  1. Lanao del Norte Covid-19 Testing Laboratory
  2. Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center
  3. Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center
  4. Marikina Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory
  5. Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital
  6. Pasig City Children’s Hospital – Child’s Hope
  7. Safeguard DNA Diagnostics
  8. San Pablo College Medical Center
  9. The Doctors Hospital, Inc.
  10. Valenzuela Hope Molecular Laboratory


Of the more than 3,000 new cases of the disease, 90% have tested positive in the past 14 days. Most come from Calabarzon and the National Capital Region.

“Of the 3,544 reported cases today, 3,177 (90%) occurred within the recent 14 days (September 2 – September 15, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were None (1,060 or 33%), Region 4A (592 or 19%) and NCR (564 or 18%).”

Meanwhile, the total recoveries decreased despite 395 increases in the number of recovered. The total recoveries so far are 207,352. Less than 207,504 yesterday.

The agency explained that 538 recoveries were replaced by tagging after validation determined that two were dead and 536 were still recovering.

The DOH also removed 25 duplicates from the total case count, of which there were nine recoveries and one death case.

The COVID-19 death toll in the country is already hitting 4,663 due to an additional 34 deaths.

“Of the 34 deaths, 29 occurred in September (85%), 3 in August (9%) 1 in May (3%) and 1 in April (3%). Deaths were from NCR (13 or 38%), Region 4A (5 or 15%), Region 2 (3 or 9%), Region 7 (3 or 9%), Region 3 (2 or 6%), Region 5 (2 or 6%), Region 10 (2 or 6%), Region 6 (1 or 3%), Region 8 (1 or 3%), Region 9 (1 or 3%), and BARMM (1 or 3%).”
