‘Peping’ accelerated as it approached Central Luzon

The tropical depression “Pepito” accelerated slightly as it traversed areas in the Central Luzon area.

The center of the tropical depression “Pepito” was last seen 440 kms east of Infanta, Quezon.

As a result, the number of areas under signal number 1, including Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Zambales, Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Metro Manila, Rizal, northern portion of Quezon (General Nakar, Infanta, Real) including the Polillo Islands, and the extreme northern portion of Camarines Norte (Vinzons) and Catanduanes.

According to Pagasa, the typhoon accelerated to 25 km per hour and had wind speeds near the center at 55 km / h and gusts reached 70 km / h.

Pagasa estimates that tomorrow morning the bad weather will be 90 km west of Dagupan City in the province of Pangasinan.
