The
total number of victims of COVID-19 in the Philippines has reached 418,818, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
Based on the agency’s latest case bulletin, the DOH has registered 1,968 new cases of the disease.
It is said that the most reported new cases in Cavite were 107. It was followed by Quezon City (97), Davao City (86), Laguna (84), and Quezon province (77).
The number of active cases has now decreased to 24,209 due to the time-based tagging of Oplan Recovery.
It also led to an increase in total recoveries which is now at 386,486 due to 10,957 increases.
Total deaths increased by 43, bringing the total to 8,123.
