Tropical storm Tonyo has been released from the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
According to a report by Pagasa forecaster Aldczar Aurelio, the typhoon was last seen 675 km west of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
It has a wind speed of 65 kph and a gust of 80 kph.
TS Tonyo was moving west at a speed of 30 kph.
Meanwhile, another typhoon named “Ulysses” continues to approach the country.
It was last seen 605 km east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar.
It has a wind speed of 55 kph and a gust of 70 kph.
It is expected to move towards the Bicol region in the coming days.
