The total number of victims of COVID-19 in the Philippines has reached 432,925, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
Based on the agency’s latest case bulletin, there are 1,298 new cases of the disease reported overnight. It does not include the data of 15 laboratories that failed to submit a report yesterday.
“15 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on November 30, 2020,” according to the DOH case bulletin.
Ilocos Norte now leads the areas with the highest number of new COVID-19 cases at 84. Manila, Quezon province, Laguna and Negros Occidental followed.
The number of still active cases remains at 25,725. Total recoveries are close to 398,782 due to 135 newly recovered.
While 27 was added to the total deaths of 8,418.
“3 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 2 were recovered cases. ”
“Moreover, 9 cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified as deaths. In addition, there’s one (1) case that was previously reported as death but has been validated as active case. ”
