Mother and son killed in police shooting in Paniqui, Tarlac

MANILA – A mother and her son died after being shot by a policeman in Paniqui town, Tarlac this Sunday afternoon, according to an initial police report. Sonya Gregorio, 52, and Frank Anthony Gregorio, 25, died after being shot by Police Senior Master Sgt. Jonel Nuezca, a policeman assigned to the Parañaque City Crime laboratory and living in Barangay Cabayaoasan, Paniqui. The Pangasinan Municipal Police reported that the suspect surrendered to them around 6:19 p.m. The suspect was immediately transferred to the Paniqui Municipal Police. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
