‘Auring,’ grows louder; already a tropical storm category– PAGASA

Typhoon Auring has intensified in recent hours.

According to Pagasa severe weather bulletin # 3 this afternoon, from the tropical depression, this category has become a tropical storm category.

The epicenter was reported 685 km southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

It is moving slowly as it heads in a northwest direction.

It has a wind speed of 65 kph and a gust of 80 kph.
