Vaccination Program Act has been enacted and signed by Pres. Duterte

President Rodrigo Duterte has already signed the Vaccination Program Act of 2021 into law.

As a result, the rollout of the country’s vaccination program against COVID-19 will be expedited.

The law also includes the provision of a P500-million indemnity fund for injecting vaccines who have experienced a strange effect.

The purpose of the said law is to facilitate the long bidding process and speed up the purchase of vaccines.

The 600,000 doses of China-made Sinovac vaccine are set to arrive in the country.
