Misis na Pinay Beauty Queen, Wagi Sa Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism 2018!

The Philippines’ delegates to the inaugural Mrs. Asia Pacific Pageant held at the Phoenix Forest City Garden Hotel in Johor Bahru, Malaysia last Saturday won two of the five coveted titles at stake in addition to a host of special awards and subtitles.

Ma. Mitzie Go Gil, 40, from Angono, Rizal, was crowned as Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism 2018, aside from winning the Special Queen Ambassador subtitle as well as the Mrs. Glamour, Mrs. Smile and Mrs. Queen People’s Choice awards.

Eurresse Czeurisse Limpangog Talisic-Misola, 24, from Danao City, Cebu, was named Mrs. Asia Pacific All Nation 2018, in addition to winning the Best National Costume and Mrs. Encouraging Woman awards.

The two Filipinas were among the five winners that also included Ulyana Kofanova, who represented Russia and was named Mrs. Asia Pacific Global 2018; Urooj Ashaish Khan, an Indian entrepreneur and make-up artist who is based in Doha, Qatar, crowned as Mrs. Asia Pacific Intercontinental 2018; and Dr. Elisse Lim from Malaysia, Mrs. Asia Pacific Cosmopolitan 2018.

A total of 22 delegates from all over the Asia Pacific region competed in the 5-day pageant that also took the delegates to the heritage city of Melaka, Malaysia.

The beauty pageant for married women that advocates for women empowerment is organized by Lumiere International, a company that is based in Singapore.

Gil, a travel agent and philanthropist who was born in Sultan Kudarat, is married to (retired) PNP Gen. Virtus V. Gil and a mother of three. She owns and manages the Eagles Fly Travel & Tours for 16 years now and is also the current vice president for V.V. G. Realty.

 She is also an active Rotarian who is involved with various charity and outreach projects particularly in the province of Rizal.

Gil was scheduled to arrive from Singapore early Monday morning, according to Annie Refrea, the Philippine licensee to the Mrs. Asia Pacific Tourism title. She will be feted with a victory party at Berjaya Hotel in Makati City today (Tuesday) courtesy of Shariff Ibrahim Albani and the Madrigal Foundation.
