Jinkee Pacquiao, Isiniwalat Na Hindi Siya Magiging Kagaya Ng Dating First Lady Na Si Imelda Marcos

According to Senator Manny Pacquiao, his beloved wife will never be like the former first lady of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos, when she is the winning President of the Philippines in the coming elections.

These are the things Pacquiao mentioned in his virtual forum last November 4, 2021, organized by the Rotary Club of Manila. Manny also said that he and his wife only focus on charity works.

According to Pacquiao, “Tinitiyak ko ‘yan. Kilala ko yung asawa ko, hindi siya ganun. Ang gusto ng asawa ko, magserbisyo, tumulong sa mga kababaihan at lalung-lalo na yung mga mahihirap.”

He added, “Gusto niya yung pagbibigay ng scholarship, pagbibigay ng housing sa mga pamilya at yung sustainable livelihood. Gusto niya yung mga charity work.”

The former first lady was known to have been extravagant when the late Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. was still the president. Her passion for expensive collections of shoes, clothes, jewelry, and paintings was reported. Imeldific also became the country when in the first lady which meant excessive display of luxury living.

Pacquiao was also interviewed by GMA News Online and here he made sure that Imelda would not be like Jinkee, and he also said that his wife has no interest in politics even though she was elected governor of Sarangani in 2013.

According to him, “Ang asawa ko po ay mahiyain at hindi po mahilig sa pulitika. Naging vice governor sa Sarangani tapos isang term lang hindi na po tumakbo, kasi kaya lang po naging vice governor yun dahil napilitan lang po siya.”

“May problema lang po doon sa mga kasamahan ko, nag-away-away sa position. So, ang inilagay ko yung asawa ko in one term, tapos hindi na siya tumakbo dahil hindi siya mahilig sa pulitika.” He added.

Jinkee has been the center of netizens’ criticism many times because of her expensive clothes, bags, and jewelry that are often posted on her social media and seen in Pacquiao’s fights.
